How members meet in the Assembly Hall

CCAF commissions, committees and classes meet online through the Assembly Hall. Anyone can see that a session is taking place; confirmed members who are signed in can enter it.

  1. Sign in with your Sankofa Passport. Your account must be confirmed by CCAF.
  2. Find the session above. Enter meeting appears at its start time; hosts can enter 15 minutes early.
  3. Choose Enter meeting. You go straight into the meeting room (Google Meet). If the organiser has set an access code for a session, you type it first.
  4. Recording: if a session may be recorded, you are asked to agree before entering, and the host announces it at the start.

At 20:45 the host opens the Google Meet room with a CCAF Workspace account. At 21:00 members choose Enter meeting and the host admits them; before recording for the minutes, the host asks everyone’s agreement.

Seeing “Enter meeting opens at …”? The meeting opens at its start time (15 minutes early for hosts). Public events are listed in the Assembly Hall.
