Nkrumah: One of the Advocates of Africa’s Political and Economic liberation – CCAF GC to Ghanaian Students.
Kwame Nkrumah was one of the prominent Africans that stood their ground for the political and economic liberation of African nations. These were the opening words of the GC, Odior Aleakwe, of Correct Connect Africa Foundation (CCAF), to the students of Don Bosco Technical Institute Odumase, Ghana. The meeting was set to introduce and explain the Correct Connect Africa Foundation mission to the students.
It was a simple 30 minutes encounter that was welcomed by enthusiastic students and staffs of the said Institution. According to the GC of the foundation, it is only through studies a student can open and broaden his or her mind. “Let us not deceive ourselves, it is only through rigorous studies of different realities our minds can be open and free.”
Like Kwame Nkrumah, in his book, Africa Must Unite, the GC told the youngsters to study to form themselves to be the new citizen, who is dedicated, modest, honest and informed; a citizen who submerges self in service to the motherland and abhors greed and detests vanity; a new type of citizen whose humanity is his or her strength and whose integrity is his greatness.
The encounter was followed by a group photograph of students and staff with the CCAF GC.
