Lagos, Nigeria, August 6, 2019 – Representatives of Correct Connect Africa Foundation (CCAF) Nigeria chapter attended a book launch authored by Prof. Patrick Okedinachi Utomi. Pat Utomi, as he is popularly known, is a Nigerian intellectual, an expert in political economy and management. The book titled “Why Not: Citizenship, state capture, creeping fascism and criminal hijack of politics in Nigeria” exposes the troubling state of politics in Nigeria and the need to rise and redeem the situation through a courageous and an authentic commitment of all, (the Nigerian people).
At the event, CCAF met with a number of high profiled Nigerians who share and promote the Afrocentric Vision, a consciousness that is paramount also to CCAF. We had the opportunity of having a brief exchange with Mr Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a Human Right activist; and Simi Fajemirokun, an educationist, an entrepreneur and the founder of Read to Succeed Global Africa Initiative (R2S Africa). We look forward to working with them in the nearest future.
