Tembea Kenya: CCAF and the Sankofa Message

Rome, 1 June 2019 – CCAF participated in the second edition of the Tembea Kenya: Cultural and Business Exchange. The scope of the event is to create an enabling environment where Africans and Europeans can meet for cultural and business exchange. The event saw big and upcoming businesses exhibit their products in different styles. 

CCAF honoured the event both as a collaborator as well as a participant. 

We clamour for an education that liberates the mind of the African. This was our message.

On this occasion, CCAF also launched her first edition of the Sankofa Youth Journal. The digital copy will be available online soon for free.

Members of CCAF were at the annual SYM congress on 7th September to deliver the Sankofa message. The message focused on the need for the youngsters to develop a sensibility towards history, Africa’s history and to promote their cultural identity.
