Benin City, Nigeria – Fr. Anthony Aleakwe Odior, Executive Guardian of the Correct Connect Africa Foundation (CCAF), visited High Chief Sam Igbe, the Iyase of Benin Kingdom. Fr. Odior discussed CCAF’s mission to promote African identity and heritage, referencing the Akan concept of Sankofa. He introduced the Africa Memorial Day (AMD) and the African Heritage Library (AHL). High Chief Igbe congratulated Fr. Odior and donated two books to the AHL.
